Dubai, UAE – February 2024

The Sultanate of Oman is participating in Gulfood 2024, one of the world's largest and most influential food and hospitality exhibitions, held from February 19 to 23 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. With a strong presence of Omani food manufacturers, this year’s participation focuses on promoting Omani exports, exploring new international markets, and strengthening trade ties with key global players.

Gulfood 2024, featuring over 5,500 exhibitors and anticipated deals exceeding $12 billion, provides Omani companies with an unparalleled platform to showcase their products, from high-quality foodstuffs to innovative food production technologies. Omani businesses are also leveraging the event to build connections with distributors, sign export deals, and identify new opportunities in the food and hospitality industry.

The Omani delegation includes several leading companies, such as Areej Vegetable Oils and Derivatives, Oman Foodstuff Factory (Al Mudhish), A'Saffa Foods, and Luban Foods (Delicio). These companies aim to introduce their diverse product ranges to international buyers and position Oman as a key player in the global food supply chain.

Through its presence at Gulfood, Oman seeks to align with its strategic objectives of expanding export horizons, boosting the competitiveness of its food sector, and contributing to sustainable economic diversification. Participating companies will gain insights into market trends, explore advanced production and packaging technologies, and engage with stakeholders to expand their international footprint.

The Sultanate’s participation at Gulfood 2024 underscores its commitment to promoting Omani products under the "Made in Oman" campaign and creating opportunities for local industries to thrive in competitive global markets.
